Features to Look for In a Tent
When you are
considering buying a tent, looking for the right features can make sure that
you end up with the right tent that would last longer and serve you well. Here
are some tent features to consider when buying a new tent:
· Tents having aluminum poles.
The tents might come with various types of poles,
for instance fiberglass, which tend to be fragile and are more likely to get
damaged or break easily. If you break or bend a tent pole, most of the camping
sores do sell repair kits or replacements. When buying desert tent, try to buy
one that comes with aluminum poles.
· Adequate rainfly. You can think of rainfly on tents as its umbrella. The bigger the
rainfly, the better it is. Look for rainflies that come down the sides of tent
and isn’t simply across the top; this is especially important when it comes to
Indian wedding tents, as it is large in size, and accommodates a lot of people.
· Double stitching and folded
seams. Check if you able to pull the tent material
in either sides of the seam and see through stitches – if you can, then the
tent would leak. Make sure you use seam sealers on all the seams to avoid
leakage.
· One-piece tub floor. Tent floor needs to be made with water-proof material. It needs to
come a couple inches, at least, above the sides before the floor is sown to the
walls of the tent. If there isn’t any seam in the floor, it would mean that
there isn’t any place for the water to be able to seep in through.
